At present, SESCIL is chiefly funded by Community Development (HUD), along with funds from the Community Chests of Englewood, Englewood Cliffs and Tenafly, the Leonia Community Chest as well as income from dentistry and podiatry services, and member and outside donations.  As a 501(c)(3) organization, SESCIL also welcomes additional tax-exempt grants and contributions from foundations, trusts, banks and businesses, in addition to donations from individuals.  In that regard, do make a tax-deductible gift by

A worthy alternative to making a gift is for individuals to make a meaningful pledge as part of SESCIL's Annual Campaign 2009.  Such a pledge would be payable by December 31, 2009 either by check or in cash and would be fully tax-deductible.  The money thus realized by SESCIL would be put to work in many ways, such as maintaining its Landmark facilities and supporting its office salaries, programs and services, as well as its basic office and other supplies.

For non-members who are aware of SESCIL's standing in the community-at-large but unfamiliar with its manifold programs and services that benefit hundreds of senior citizens in Bergen County and beyond, the following categories should help to clarify what a potential pledgor is, in fact, supporting through his or her generosity:

Please go ahead now and access the interactive Online General Pledge Form that will enable you to make your total annual pledge for the year 2009 and indicate your various preferences as to frequency of payment, recognition (or otherwise), or inclusion of SESCIL in your will.  Many thanks!
